VET NURSES

Aimee

MainPic

My name is Aimee Halford, I was born in Sydney but moved to NZ with my family at a young age.  I grew up in the country surrounded by many animals, including my best friends Inca, a Rottie x German Shepherd and Rosie, a Jersey cow. Growing up with animals really sparked my choice to complete my Diploma of Veterinary Nursing in Auckland in 2009. Whilst studying, I worked in a rural vet clinic with both small and large animals which I thoroughly enjoyed. I then moved onto working in a small animal clinic on the Hibiscus Coast where I worked as a surgical nurse and receptionist. I loved meeting and interacting with clients and their beloved pets.

I moved to Melbourne in August 2011 to live with my sister, who has been enjoying a busy city life for over 4 years. I am very excited to explore Melbourne in my free time! I enjoy eating out, bike riding and relaxing in the sunshine at the beautiful parks and beaches.

Nicola

Hi, my name is Nicola! I have recently started working as a nurse at Caulfield Vet Clinic. It has been great getting to know all the clients and their adorable companions. I am currently studying my Certificate III in vet nursing and really enjoy learning new skills from our three wonderful vets.

I have always been very passionate about animals and through my experiences of volunteering at the RSPCA and guide dogs Victoria I realised I had to be a vet nurse. At home I have two lovely senior cats ‘Ned' and ‘Sathy', and a big bridle dog ‘Memski'. Newer additions to the family are orphaned guinea pigs and a rat that I have hand raised. In the future I would like to gain more experience with wildlife and also hope to volunteer in Thailand with street dogs.

I look forward to meeting you at the clinic soon!

Sharon

Sharon has been working at Caulfield Vet Clinic part time since returning from Sydney where she studied performing arts at NIDA. She has many talents including acting, singing, dancing as well as being a veterinary nurse and qualified psychologist.

Sharon enjoys shopping, eating out and cooking/entertaining friends at home. Although she does not have any pets in her rented apartment, she loves the pets at her parents place - Mooshie the white cat and Bluey the terrier cross!

Sharon loves being a part of the CVC team and has a soft spot for puppies and kittens. She especially enjoys talking to clients about their pets or even something more personal. Sharon's smiling face can be found at the clinic on Saturday mornings.
