Senior Veterinarian and Owner
(BVSc, MANCVS (Surgery), Professional Interest in Giant Breed Dogs and Surgery)
Dr. Diana Wilson is the recent owner of Caulfield Veterinary Hospital after spending the last few years building the very successful sister clinic, Toorak Rd Veterinary Clinic. She completed her studies in Veterinary Science at The University of Melbourne and has worked in veterinary practice for more than 20 years. She has extensive experience in all aspects of small animal internal medicine and emergency with a keen interest in giant breed dogs and surgery.
With the completion of her surgical memberships in 2010 from the Australian Veterinary College, Diana is able to perform complex soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical procedures at the clinic avoiding referral to specialist clinics.
Diana has great commitment and enthusiasm towards holistic care at the clinic and works hard to ensure we are continually offering exceptional standards of care for you and your pets.
Diana spends her time outside of work looking after her 2 children Hamish and Emmeline, her Border Collie Otis (who you are likely to meet when you visit the clinic!) and her cats Artie, Ollie and Olaf. After allowing some time to grieve the loss of her beautiful Great Dane Isla, it is with great excitement that a puppy is on the horizon in 2021.
With a family including two young children, an always growing number of pets and managing two clinics there is not a lot of leisure time. However, when time does permit, she enjoys playing hockey, skiing, bushwalking and playing the violin.
