Emergencies

For all emergencies during hours please call the clinic on (03) 9527 7740. For after-hours emergencies we recommend contacting your local veterinary emergency centre. Some local centres include the Animal Emergency Centre (AEC) – Moorabbin and the Pet Emergency & Specialist Centre (PESC).

What is an emergency?

• Snake bite
• Respiratory (breathing) distress
• Collapse
• Convulsions/seizures lasting more than 5 minutes, or repeated seizures
• Profuse bleeding
• Profuse diarrhoea
• Repeated vomiting
